Families at our Day Center are in constant need of the following:
Socks (children and adult sizes)
Hair ribbons and clips
Curling irons / Flat irons
Liquid laundry detergent
DESIGNATED MONETARY NEEDS:
Underwear – $100 can help a family of 4 with all the basic undergarment needs.
Haircuts – $15 can help a parent with a basic haircut to be “interview ready.”
Shoe Fund – $30 can help a parent buy shoes needed for work.
Specialized clothing – $150 can help a parent purchase uniforms for work or get proper wardrobe for job search/interviews and work.
Job Training – varies depending on the course.
DAY CENTER NEEDS:
Remote intercom/video system – This will allow us to see who is at the door in the first floor, since we are in the second floor.
Work team (6-10 people) to help spruce up Day Center, one Saturday per month, from 9:00AM – Noon or 10:00AM – 1:00PM.
